MCM Smoke Optic Tulip Bowl Champagne/Sherbet Glasses were Made in Japan by a company called Mitani. This set of 4 Floral Shaped Bowl glass set, is one of favorite sets that we have. Rare to come by, so its hard to let them go. The sheer smoke color has a beautiful black hue ,and have the perfect sheerness for clarity. Completely addicted to collecting versatile pieces to mix and match, and this small size set from the Orient defiantly fits the bill. They have a touch of elegance with their solid colored bowl , dash of sweet & cute with their small size & circular swirls on the base, & a splash of eclectic with their optic floral slightly flared shape. This wonderful MCM set come is preowned vintage condition, with no major chips, cracks, or deep scratching. One glass does have a small dip in the rim that is not sharp so I am not sure if it was done in the making process or a small chip from eons ago and is now smooth.
